Water Career Pathways along with West Valley College will be hosting a project-based learning competition for local high school students. Teams of students will develop a strategy to provide an economically sustainable method of providing sufficient potable water or a method of processing wastewater that meets the needs of people and the ecosystem.
The application process has been completed and students along with their teachers are currently engaged in completing their projects. 70+ teams with over 360 students total will be participating. Results of the competition will be presented at an event at West Valley College on April 29th, with awards being given to winning teams, along with guest speakers and a career fair.
This is a closed event for the students and their teachers, however we look forward to sharing coverage of the event as it draws near, and to give recognition to the winners!
